LEFKOŞA, GİRNE II , ECVET YUSUF ve TEKNECIK II SUBSTATION PROJECTS

1) Ecvet Yusuf SS Delivery Period: 8 Months A 22 / 11 kV 20MVA Dry-type Power Transformer was supplied, assembled and activated for the transformer platform within the empty transformer room at Ecvet Yusuf Substation. The recently assembled transformer was ensured to work in parallel with the 22 / 11 kV 20MVA Dry-type Power Transformer at Ecvet Yusuf Substation. The assembly of new transformer on the designated platform, all field tests and connections of terminated OG cables were performed. A fan with 5000m3/h suction capacity was installed on the ventilation hole located on the ceiling of room where the transformer would be located. The new feeder was adapted to the current SCADA system and was delivered as being able to control and monitor all functions under SCADA Signal List given under the specifications from SCADA Control Centre. 2) Nicosia SS Delivery Period: 8 Months In order to equip where the empty transformer feeder at Nicosia 132kV Substation is, and on the transformer platform, a 132 / 23.02 kV 20/25MVA Power Transformer and complete transformer feeder materials were supplied and assembled. The new transformer was assembled together with all equipment required to work in parallel with 132 / 23.02 kV 20/25MVA Power Transformer at 132kV Substation. At the Transformer MV output, MV bus bars were placed as it is in the existing transformer, and such cables were assembled on those bus bars. A panel where all phase and fan control of new transformer can be conducted was assembled next to the panels of existing transformers with the same features. The new feeder was adapted to the current SCADA system and was delivered as being able to control and monitor all functions under SCADA Signal List given under the specifications from SCADA Control Centre. A generator with 3-phase 50 kVA power was installed at this substation and for the generator system, a changeover panel was placed next to AC YSP in the control room so that in case of any power cut, the generator would be automatically activated and feed AC YSP. 3) Kyrenia II SS Delivery Period: 8 Months In order to equip where the empty transformer feeder at Kyrenia II 132kV Substation is, and on the transformer platform, a 132 / 11.51 kV 20/25MVA Power Transformer and complete transformer feeder materials were supplied and assembled. The recently assembled transformer was ensured to work in parallel with the 132 / 11.51 kV 20/25MVA Power Transformer at Nicosia 132kV Substation. The new feeder was adapted to the current SCADA system and was delivered as being able to control and monitor all functions under SCADA Signal List given under the specifications from SCADA Control Centre. A generator with 3-phase 50 kVA power was installed at this substation and for the generator system, a changeover panel was placed next to AC YSP in the control room so that in case of any power cut, the generator would be automatically activated and feed AC YSP. 4) TEKNECIK II SS Delivery Period: 6 Months Complete transformer feeder materials was supplied and assembled on the empty transformer feeder at Teknecik II 66/132kV Substation 66kV switch. The transformer at Bafra SS was taken from this substation and moved to its place. An out-of-use feeder line in front of existing transformer platform at SS was transformed into transformer feeder. The existing equipment were designed and transformed into transformer feeder. Since the existing feeder was a feeder line, the existing 66kV voltage transformers (3) and ground separator on the current line separator would be disassembled and delivered to KIB-TEK. The distance protection relay on this feeder with protection relays was disassembled and replaced with transformer differential protection and general opening relay.
